The Princethorpe Foundation is a thriving family of schools with a proud heritage and an exciting future.
We are seeking an exceptional leader to become our next CEO and Principal, following Ed Hester’s retirement in August 2027, after 16 years of outstanding leadership. He will leave the Foundation in a very strong position, with dedicated staff and full rolls of high achieving pupils, ready for the next stage of its strategic development.
Our new CEO and Principal will be someone who will not only embody our ethos and values but will also continue to shape a bold vision for the years ahead.
This is a rare opportunity to run a leading educational foundation, where academic excellence, outstanding pastoral care and a rich co-curricular life combine to create an environment in which young people truly flourish. As CEO and Principal, you will be the architect of our strategic direction, working closely with the Governing Body and a team of excellent senior leaders, to ensure that our schools remain innovative, inclusive and inspiring.
We are looking for a leader of stature and imagination. We seek a proven educationalist with the confidence to engage effectively at every level - from pupils and parents to trustees and donors. You will bring clarity of thought, a high level of commercial acumen and the courage to make decisive calls. You will be a visible presence across our schools, a compelling communicator and an ambassador for all that the Foundation represents.
